Getting Started with Qloud+

Learn how-to Get Started with Qloud+ including how to create your Qloud+ account, connecting your first cloud storage account, and how to #FindYourFilesFaster after you have connected your files.

Create a Qloud+ Account

On your first visit you will need to create an account. Start by clicking the ‘Create account’ link to provide your user details.

Please fill out all fields, including providing a valid email address, accept the terms and conditions, and promise you are not a robot (reCAPTCHA) to continue:

After clicking ‘Sign up for free’ check your supplied email address for a verification link which will complete the registration process.

If for some reason you do not see the email, check your spam folder or contact support for assistance.

Following the link in the email will complete the verification process and log you in for the first time.

Managing Your Cloud Storage Accounts in Qloud+

You are able to add your existing accounts from Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive to Qloud+. Follow the steps below to add an account, rename a previously connected account, or disconnect an account from Qloud+.

Connect a Cloud Storage Account to Qloud+

If it’s your first time logging in you will be presented with the Qloud+ Hub without any connected accounts. You can start by connecting your accounts in any order you like. After successfully connecting your account(s), Qloud+ will start to analyze your files and get you ready to #FindYourFilesFaster!

To connect a first, or any subsequent account, simply click any of the ‘Connect an account‘ buttons found in the Hub:

Or from the ‘Connect Account‘ link in the ‘Accounts‘ menu from the top menu:

You will need to enter your user name or email address and password for each account. You may be prompted for additional steps per service (authorizing explicit access to services on your behalf). After completing these the first time you will not have to repeat this process.

Connect a Dropbox Account to Qloud+

You will need to enter your user name or email address and password for each Dropbox account. Start by entering your account credentials you would use to access Dropbox directly and clicking the ‘Sign in‘ button:

You will be asked for permission to connect your Dropbox account to Qloud+. Complete this by pressing the ‘Allow‘ button to give your permission for Qloud+ to access your Dropbox account directly:

You can repeat these steps to connect additional Dropbox accounts to Qloud+.

Connect a Google Drive Account to Qloud+

You will need to enter your user name or email address and password for each Google Drive account. Start by entering your account credentials you would use to access Google Drive directly and clicking the ‘Next‘ button:

You will be asked for permission to connect your Google Drive account to Qloud+. Complete this by pressing the ‘Allow‘ button to give your permission for Qloud+ to access your Google Drive account directly:

You can repeat these steps to connect additional Dropbox accounts to Qloud+.

Connect a Onedrive Account to Qloud+

You will need to enter your user name or email address and password for each OneDrive account. Start by entering your account credentials you would use to access OneDrive directly and clicking the ‘Sign in‘ button:

You will be asked for permission to connect your OneDrive account to Qloud+. Complete this by pressing the ‘Yes‘ button to give your permission for Qloud+ to access your OneDrive account directly:

You can repeat these steps to connect additional OneDrive accounts to Qloud+.

Rename an Account Connected to Qloud+

You can rename any account attached to Qloud+. By default, Qloud+ will name the account with the email address associated with the account that you used to connect with. Start by clicking the ‘Rename Account‘  button in the ‘Accounts View‘ for the desired account:

After you press the ‘Rename Account‘  button you will be able to edit the name of the account:

Enter the new name you wish and press the green ‘‘ to update the name.  If you wish to cancel and make no changes, click the red ‘X‘:

You will receive a confirmation popup letting you know that your account name has been updated:

You can also rename your accounts from the ‘Profile‘ page:

You can repeat these steps to rename additional Qloud+ accounts.

Disconnect an Account from Qloud+

You can disconnect any account you have attached to Qloud+ at any time. Start by browsing to the account you wish to disconnect from the ‘Accounts‘ Menu:

And press the ‘Disconnect Account‘ button found next to the ‘Rename Account‘ link:

You can also disconnect your accounts from the ‘Profile‘ page:

And press the ‘Disconnect Account‘ button found next to each account to complete the process:

When you click the ‘Disconnect Account‘ button you will be prompted with the details of the account you have selected to disconnect. If correct, press ‘Disconnect‘, if it is not the account you wished to disconnected, press ‘Cancel‘ and no action will be taken:

You can repeat these steps to disconnect additional accounts from Qloud+.

Reset Your Qloud+ Password

In the event that you forget your password or wish to reset it, start by clicking on the ‘Forgot your password?‘ link found on the ‘Login‘ page:

Fill in your account email address and press ‘Send Password Reset’ button to complete the request:

You will receive a message requesting you to check your email to complete the password reset process:

If for some reason you do not see the email, check your spam folder or contact support for assistance.

Follow the link to complete the process and supply a new password and click ‘Reset Password’ when ready. You will be automatically logged into Qloud+ when clicking ‘Reset Password’.

If already logged in, you can also reset your password from the ‘Profile‘ page:

Click the ‘Edit Profile‘ button to get started:

Then, click the ‘Change Password‘ link:

In the ‘Change password‘ form, enter your old (current password) and then enter what you want your password to be changed to. Click the ‘Save‘ button to complete the process:

When you have successfully updated your password you will receive a popup notification:

Search for Files & Folders in Qloud+

You can use the powerful Qloud+ Search to #FindYourFIlesFaster from all of your connected cloud storage accounts.

Enter the text of the file or folder name you wish to look for across all of your connect cloud storage accounts and press ‘Search‘:

Qloud+ will return the results from across all of your connect cloud storage accounts in one view:

The results can be sorted by all of the columns shown in the view by clicking on the name of each column. You can also filter the results in the Search view by pressing the ‘View Filters‘ button:

You can filter the results by selecting any of the available options in the Filter Panel and complete the filter by pressing the ‘Apply‘ button:

By filtering your search results with Qloud+ you can #FindYourFilesFaster no matter which account they are in!

Working with Qloud+ Collections

A ‘Collection‘ is a combination of files and folders from any of your connected cloud storage accounts that you wish to put together in one location.

Qloud+ doesn’t move the files/folders, they still live where they are now, but Qloud+ gives you quick and easy access to any item in the Collection regardless of which cloud storage account they are in.

The items in a Collection can be any combination of your files/folder or files/folders shared with you.

You can quickly create a Collection and get started following the instructions below!

Create a Qloud+ Collection

You can create a Collection a number of ways in the Qloud+ interface.

From the ‘All Collections‘ view:

From any ‘Accounts‘ view:

Or by using the drag-and-drop functionality from within any ‘Accounts‘ view:

No matter which way you choose, creating a Collection is the same. Start by choosing your preferred way to create a Collection:

Enter any ‘Collection name‘ you wish:

Choose a ‘Collection color‘ to help you easily identify the Collection (optional):

Press the ‘Create‘ button to complete the setup and you will be taken to the Collection view which indicates you are ready to put some files and folders in it from any connected cloud storage account:

You can view your Collections by clicking the ‘All Collections‘ link on the left-hand menu at any time:

You can repeat these steps to create more Collections as desired.

Add Items to a Qloud+ Collection

You can add an item from a Qloud+ Collection in the following ways. Select the item(s) then press the ‘Add to Collection‘ button from within any ‘Accounts‘ view:

Or, you can add items to a Collection by using the right-click ‘Add to collection’ functionality from within any ‘Accounts‘ view:

Choose which Collection you would like to add the item(s) to in the ‘Select collection‘ popup.  Press the ‘Add to Collection‘ button to complete the process:

You will see a pop-up notification indicating that your item was successfully added to the Collection:

Or, you can add items to a Collection by using the drag-and-drop functionality from within any ‘Accounts‘ view:

You will see a pop-up notification indicating that your item was successfully added to the Collection:

You can repeat these steps to add more items to your Collections as desired.

Removing Items from a Qloud+ Collection

If you wish to remove an item from a Qloud+ Collection start from the Collection view for the desired Collection and click the item you wish to remove:

You can find the ‘Remove‘ function on the main toolbar:

And, you can find the ‘Remove‘ function on the right-click options:

No matter which way you choose, removing items from a Collection is the same. Start by choosing your preferred way to remove an item from a Collection:

You are given an option to simply remove the item from the Collection or to also ‘Delete the file from <storage account> as well‘. Please note, if you choose the option to Delete the file will be removed from the Collection and DELETED from the source. Press the ‘Remove‘ button to remove the items from a Collection, or press the ‘Cancel‘ button to exit without making any changes:

You will see a pop-up notification indicating that your item was removed from the Collection:

You can repeat these steps to remove more items from your Collections as desired.
